Built on Manufacturing Expertise

Ron Barranco is the owner and president of MicroEstimating, bringing decades of hands-on experience as a machinist, manufacturing technologist, and early pioneer in additive manufacturing. Long before 3D printing became mainstream, Ron was working at the intersection of advanced manufacturing and software, helping push the industry forward through both innovation and real-world application. His career spans traditional CNC machining, process engineering, and early adoption of additive manufacturing technologies, giving him a rare, practical understanding of how parts are actually made.

“Manufacturing must be modeled accurately, not approximated, if shops want quotes they can trust and margins they can defend.”

What Our Customers Say

Quoting parts by hand takes a lot of time and you never really know if you are being accurate and consistent. As we were growing, Micro Estimating allowed us to quote many parts on a daily basis. It has been a cornerstone in our business success for years, helping us maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
